A bike rental excursion is the only way to see historic downtown Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas!
Take a leisurely ride along the waterfront of Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Explore historic Frenchtown and find the tip of land that used to connect St. Thomas to Hassel Island. See 99 Steps, Fort Christian, 7 Arches Museum, go Shopping and stop at Big Kahuna or Greengos for lunch.
A map is provided with landmarks in and around this historic part of St. Thomas. The map also notes several locations where it is convenient to park the bike if you want to eat, drink or shop.
This area of St. Thomas is almost entirely flat with a few small hills. Most riders will not find the excursion route difficult.

If your cruise ship arrives at the West Indian Company (WICO) dock in Charlotte Amalie Harbor, we are a short 2 minute walk from the dock. You pick your bike up at Mojo’s Rum Shack. Mojo’s is in the parking lot of Port of Sale Mall right next to the cruise ship dock.
If your cruise ship arrives at Crown Bay, you will need to get transportation to Port of Sale Mall (a 10 minute taxi ride).
The map attached to the bike will lead you from Mojo’s along to waterfront to downtown Charlotte Amalie and Frenchtown. It is highly recommended that you stay off the main roads as the driving can get a little hairy. When crossing a main road, please walk the bike across the street.
After you are finished exploring St. Thomas, return the bike back to Mojo’s and lock it up. Bikes must be returned by 5 pm.
